You can get involved in the Great Greyhound Book and help raise funds for 10 independent Greyhound rehoming Charities.
There are three stages to this fundraising venture.
First, the 10 Charities will be selected. They must be independent, self funding Greyhound rehoming Charities. There are currently two places filled by Lincolnshire Greyhound Trust in the UK and Greyhound Friends, Inc in the USA. All it takes for your favourite Greyhound Charity to be considered is for the Charity Director to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org so pass on my email address and let’s get them some funding that they desperately need.
Second, there will be the opportunity for you to submit your Greyhound stories, poems, favourite photographs and remembrance of your Greyhounds who have sadly passed over the rainbow bridge. Details of how to do this will be announced as soon as all 10 of the Charities are signed up.
Thirdly, after the book is compiled and edited, it will be published as an ebook for customers to download directly onto their computer. You will be able to see your stories, poetry and photos in print, knowing that it is helping retired Greyhounds find loving forever homes. As an added bonus, there will be a host of Greyhound related special offers available in the ebook for you to save money and pamper your hounds.
There is still time to get involved with this fundraising extravaganza. If you run an independent Greyhound rehoming Charity you can apply to receive funds. If you have a business and would like to offer special discounts on your products and gain new customers, you can apply to be included in the ebook. If you have written Greyhound stories or poems, you will be able to submit your writing for publication. If you just want to help the Charities, you will be able to purchase an amazing collection of Greyhound related articles in the Great Greyhound Book.
